We are very fond of the Shanling look and, therefore, use their chassis, transformers (and mechanics with drive electronics in the case of the CD/SACD Player) to create valve state of the art CD/SACD-Players and amplifiers.

3D sonics, internally bears little resemblance to Shanling, featuring completely redesigned circuitry using new and innovative circuit design. For example the SACD & CD Players are pure valve designs with no operational amplifier chips after the DAC. Equally the amplifiers are pure valve designs (the solid state volume control remains available as selectable option) using advanced super differential circuit designs and offering selectable output stage modes for triode, ultra-linear or pentode operation or are equipped with the undisputed Queen of all Output Valves, the 300B directly heated triode.

In the voicing of the 3D sonics products we applied specialist audio components of the highest grade, such as Audio Note™ copper-foil coupling capacitors, Audio Note™ Tantalum resistors, Silver/Mica bypass capacitors and Black Gate™ as well as Sanyo Organic Semiconductor (OsCon™) electrolytic capacitors. We also use pure-copper, solid-core with PUR insulation for all internal signal wiring.

Also available is a range of cables including interconnects with our "active biased screen technology" and ribbon speaker cables with our matched impedance symmetrical field design, using teflon insulation and silver/copper alloy conductors. Our speaker cables include separate termination networks as standard, the kind sold separately as "speaker noise killer".
